Baruco Trading is a specialised trade facilitation business focused on connecting Malaysian construction material suppliers with Australian clients. The business is established to bridge two complementary markets by enabling efficient, compliant, and commercially aligned trade relationships across the construction sector.


Australia’s construction industry continues to experience cost pressures, supply chain constraints, and the need for reliable, high-quality materials. Malaysia offers a strong and mature manufacturing base with the capability to supply a broad range of construction products at scale. My role is to identify, assess, and connect the right Malaysian suppliers with Australian main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers & distributors, architects, engineers and developers, ensuring alignment with Australian standards, project requirements, and commercial expectations.


Baruco Trading delivers value by reducing procurement risk, improving cost certainty, facilitating long-term, sustainable supply partnerships, offering timely intelligence on market conditions, industry trends and emerging opportunities, ensuring informed decisions and sustainable growth. Services include supplier sourcing and vetting, client-supplier matching, trade facilitation, and ongoing relationship management, all underpinned by trust, transparency, and performance.

I bring 15 years of senior leadership experience within Tier-2 main contractors with project experience spanning Education, Health, Emergency, Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Social Housing and Local Government sectors. My career has been built on estimating and cost planning for projects in Melbourne and Perth, with values ranging from AUD $100,000 to $200 million. This expansive portfolio of experience provides a strong understanding of procurement strategies, project delivery constraints, commercial management, risk mitigation, and the practical realities faced by construction businesses, understanding of how construction businesses operate and what clients require from their supply partners.     


This background enables me to assess supplier capability through the lens of an Australian contractor, ensuring materials, logistics, compliance, and lead times meet industry expectations. I also draw upon a well-established industry network across Australia, enabling direct access to builders and subcontractors, key decision-makers and procurement teams, therefore accelerating meaningful commercial engagement.
